Family Therapy & Parent Coaching

Family relationships can be complicated. You can love each other very much and still get stuck in the same arguments, have trouble communicating, or find yourselves unsure how to make things better.

I provide family therapy for families who want help working through challenges together. I also offer parent coaching for parents who want a place to talk through concerns, get support, and think about how they want to handle difficult situations.

Family Therapy

Even close families can go through times when it feels hard to understand each other. Maybe conversations quickly turn into arguments, someone feels unheard or misunderstood, or something has changed and you're having a hard time adjusting to it together.

Family therapy gives you a place to slow things down and look at what's happening between you. I work with families in different configurations, including parents and children, siblings, and adult family members. You don't need to have the entire family participate for the work to be helpful.

We may work on things like:

  • Communication and recurring conflict

  • Parent-child relationships

  • Sibling relationships

  • Boundaries within the family

  • Family changes and transitions

  • Longstanding patterns that keep coming up

  • Rebuilding trust after conflict or hurt

  • Understanding each other's needs and perspectives

Family therapy isn't about figuring out who's right or wrong. It's a chance to have conversations differently, better understand each other, and work toward relationships that feel less stressful and more connected.

Parent Coaching

Parenting can be hard, and there are times when it's difficult to know what to do. You may be worried about your child, frustrated by something that keeps happening, struggling to set boundaries, or wondering whether you're helping too much—or not enough.

Parenting can be hard, and there are times when it's difficult to know what to do. You may be worried about your child, frustrated by something that keeps happening, struggling to set boundaries, or wondering whether you're helping too much—or not enough.

Parent coaching gives you a place to talk openly about what's happening without feeling like you're supposed to have all the answers. We can look at what's working, what isn't, and what you might want to try differently.

We might talk about communication, boundaries, expectations, conflict, or how to respond when emotions are running high. We can also look at how to support your child while giving them room to make their own choices and work through things themselves.

There isn't one right way to parent. My goal is to help you feel more confident in your decisions and find an approach that feels right for you and your family.
