Individual Therapy

Individual therapy gives you a place to talk openly about what's going on in your life without having to figure everything out on your own. I work with clients dealing with anxiety, relationship challenges, major life changes, stress, and times when they feel stuck or unsure about what comes next.

You may be keeping up with work, school, relationships, or other responsibilities while still feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unhappy. You may be struggling with a relationship, questioning a decision, or trying to adjust to a change you didn't expect. Therapy gives you a chance to step back, understand what's happening, and think about what you want to do differently.

Reasons People Come to Individual Therapy

You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes there's a specific problem you want help with. Other times, things may look fine from the outside while you know something doesn't feel right.

I often work with clients around:

  • Anxiety, overthinking, and high-functioning stress

  • Relationship difficulties and dating

  • Divorce, separation, and relationship changes

  • Career or school stress and burnout

  • Major life transitions

  • Self-esteem and self-doubt

  • Grief and loss

  • Parenting and postpartum concerns

  • Trauma and difficult past experiences

  • Boundaries and people-pleasing

Therapy can help you make sense of what you're experiencing, understand patterns that may be contributing to it, and feel more confident about how you want to move forward.

What Therapy With Me Is Like

My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. We'll start with what's bringing you to therapy and what you'd like to be different rather than trying to fit you into one particular approach.

Depending on what you're dealing with, I may draw from CBT, EMDR, DBT skills, or relational therapy. Sometimes we'll focus on practical strategies you can use right away. Other times, we'll spend more time understanding patterns, relationships, or past experiences that continue to affect you.

You don't need to know which type of therapy you need before you come in. That's something we can figure out together.

In-Person and Virtual Therapy

I offer in-person therapy in Denver and virtual therapy throughout Colorado.

If you're considering therapy and wondering whether we might be a good fit, I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation so we can briefly talk about what you're looking for and you can ask any questions you have.
